Cats. Everywhere. Cats.

Literally four out of nine of my villagers are cats. Punchy, Ankha, Kabuki, and now Merry! I love Kabuki and Ankha, but could live without the rest. Has this ever happened to you (with other types of animals as well)? I feel like a crazy cat lady.

I had three cats when I started my town (Tangy, Mitzi and Rudy) which I found funny as cats are my favourite animal and favourite villager species, it?s like they knew haha

The majority of my villagers are cats too; they just happen to contain most of my favorites.

I also have many cats in my town! They're really cute and definitely my favorite species in the game. The current cat villagers I have are Tangy, Rosie, Rudy and Punchy.

I actually had the opposite experience. I absolutely love dogs, and out of the blue one day, my boyfriend and I realized I didn't have a dog villager in my town. I fixed that by buying Bones' amiibo card. :3

I had a lot of sheep villagers once, wich were Muffy, Willow, and Etoile. I still have Muffy and Etoile i hope because i have not played for ages!

I got Spork from my campsite and I liked him a lot so I adopted Truffles and then....

I have Kabuki and Kid Kat, when I first started I had a whole bunch of mice which wasn't so bad but I haven't had a mouse since, (except for random move in Bella, and then sneakily moved out)

I used to have 4 cats in my Gamecube town. I eventually moved 3 of them out, and only Tangy remains. I prefer to have different species, since I think it makes for a more interesting town.

There have been time where I would have like 3 of the same species in my town, usually rabbits thou. I did have Snake, Chrissy, Claude and Francine all living in one town. I never really noticed till one day I was counting my personalities then I realized "oh, I have 4 rabbits".

I had almost a full village of squirrels when I started because I really wanted Marshal, and then fell in love with Pecan and Mint and ended up with like 7/10 villagers being squirrels haha

I had all cats in my town except for Coco. I now have Lucky and Muffy since Ankha and Mitzi moved (so, so sad). I have Tom, Kiki, Lolly, Felyne, Rosie, Rudy, Moe, Muffy, Coco, Lucky now. I actually quit because I couldn't take the loss of my cats, lol.

When I first started my town, I had Nana and Tammi. Then, Monty moved in, giving me 3 monkeys. All have since moved on.

I also had 3 anteaters for a while. I invited Annalisa from the campsite, then Anabelle and Antonio both moved in randomly. I still have Annalisa and Anabelle, but I let Antonio go because he was in a bad spot.

Currently, I have 3 bears. I scanned Grizzly in with his card because I adore him. Paula was a random move-in and Chow came from my husband's void.

Speaking of my husband, his first 9 villagers were mostly sheep and bears/cubs. He had 3 sheep (Eunice, Baabara, and Frita) and 4 bears (Kody, Vladimir, Beardo and Chow) All were starting villagers or random move-ins.

It's funny how the game seems to like to send the same species in waves.

I'm the one with a lot of dogs, eagles, and wolves, ppl say i got to many wolves xD
but hey i like wolves and dogs also birds.

Don't really like cat villagers, but I have three, hopefully four octopuses in my town after I get Inkwell moved in. I love octopuses!

Cats are pretty cool villagers, I had once about three in one town. I also had once a town with
4 wolves (Chief, Lobo, Whitney and Kyle). I didn't wanted them to move out since there are my
favorites and I enjoyed having them around me.

Three of my starters in my current town were 3 frogs (Drift, Jeremiah, Lily.)

All of them are gone but I might get Lily back someday.

And as for wanting a town with all 10 residents being the same species... I wouldn't like it since I like diversity through them. I would probably get all Cubs or all Squirrels if I had to choose.
