Catchphrases?

What catchphrases do you like to tell your villagers to say ? Mine always ask me to give them new ones and I'm fresh out of ideas

If I like their original one i give them that as a ‘new catchphrase’ at least once. This seems to keep them from picking up the catchphrases of every single other islander. I’m not very clever so it is very hard for me to improve on what they start with

I give them the stupidest things. My sheep say floofle and floofie, and Zucker says swoople or somethin dumb like that. Just silly sounds words, or for the sheep, 'fluffy' words.

Punchy recently asked me to change his catchphrase. I just gave him what I had in mind, which was "toe beans".

I like species themed catchphrases a lot but my villagers seem to have an affinity for spreading catchphrases and then later becoming bored of them haha ^^

I like that my villagers all have a unique catchphrase so I make them keep it each time they ask me! I heard if you change it, then they share with each other and all use the same one.

Can confirm this is the case sadly
They spread those catchphrases like wildfire without you even approving it haha
