Funny story... All but 2 of my villagers have caught on to a certain catchphrase I gave to Gaston a while ago. The catchphrase is Nice butt.

yep. I thought it was hilarious to make gaston seem like an old creep but now my adorable villagers like flurry and monty are saying it! Hilarious but frustrating. Can anyone else relate XD

Ever since when I made the catchphrase "Toadette" to Chrissy, everyone wanted to say it as well.

I remember when I first started ACNL all my villagers kept spreading meme catchphrases to each other. It got tiresome after a while and I stopped messing with catchphrases.

Fauna caught a catchphrase from another animal, I can't remember who, which was hoo-rah. I preferred her old one, dearie. It's not a terrible change, but dearie sounds 100 times better.

I have four of my villagers calling me "dilfchaser"... I only told Ricky to. Honestly I can't tell anymore if it's a nickname for me or a catchphrase... I had only been playing a few days when I suggested he use it.

And if I have to explain what that is... well... I'm not going to.

When I first got the name I didn't know that catchphrases spread, and I was letting my BF play on my file too with his own character. I came home one day to find out all my villagers were saying LOLZZZ. I was like WTF?! Turns out he had taught it to Vladimir and it spread like wildfire.

That was a long time ago tho. RIP first town.

Everyone in my town now says "me-YOWZA" which was Tom's original. It's so over-the-top that it's hilarious.

I gave Rudy the catchphrase "meowiekins" and Roscoe and Pietro say it now. Flora says honk honk from Pietro and Avery says Pinky from Flora. It's a mess.
