Catchphrase problem

So O'Hare wanted a new catchphrase so to be clever i gave him "in my hat". Before I knew it it spread like a wildfire. Now half of my town has it as their catchphrase. Anything I can do about it? Has this happened to anyone else?

I think you can complain to Isabelle, and mention about the 'way the speak', or something?

Talk to Isabelle and say you have a problem with a villager. I'm almost certain that if for example snake was saying it, and you tell Isabelle that you don't like the way snakes talking, his catchphrase resets
