I didn't realize I was supposed to get the masterball from the team Aqua hideout, I kinda breezed through it. So I went on to Kyogre without it, and I really don't wanna bother to go back, and I'm not even sure that's actuay an option? I'm also pretty unprepared. The legendaries in XY were ridiculously easy, so I busted Sootopolis and was like "hahaha yea sure. i'll just catch it in a premier ball lol." So I'm prepared with only about 30 pokeballs, 7 ultra balls, and 6 premier balls. Help?

You can leave and get more Pokeballs I think.
To help you if you cbf going to get the master ball, if you get a shedinja that knows healblock, use that. Weaken Kyogre enough, then switch out for shedinja and have it use heal block. This stops it using Aqua ring and healing, and kyogre doesnt know any attacks super effective against shedinja, so you can just keep throwing Pokeballs without having to worry about shedinja fainting

Wow, thanks! I'm gonna look for one, but I think I'm gonna end up also going back for the masterball just in case. Do you know if you can still go back for the masterball after you get kyogre?
You can try it with just what you have. I caught Kyogre with my first ultra ball the first time. The legendary catch rates are all over the place in ORAS. If you run out of balls, soft reset and try again. You should be fine, it just might take a few more tries.
I've been at it for about an hour and a half, 3 tries so far. I'll keep having at it till I can get a Shedinja.

you could also try the lotto at lilycove city to try get first place for the masterball but that's down to luck and you can only try once a day

You can go back for the masterball but save it for Deoxys since you can't save before the battle
you can just KO deoxys and the beat the E4 again and catch it at sky pillar, then you can reset for nature/IV's etc

I know this thread is about Primal Kyogre, but it took me five resets before Primal Groudon was locked into the third Ultra Ball.
I caught primal groudon first try with a Pokeball so....
