Some people seem to be having trouble on how to catch the Char (fish). Others seem to believe the Char is out of season. I'm here to tell you otherwise and also where you can locate and catch this slippery fella.
The Char goes out of season after July, you best get hunting.
Where can you find the Char? Beneath or above any waterfall. I haven't caught one past 20 steps away from the waterfall (The Char can also be caught in the small area below the waterfall where it comes into contact with the ocean)
What time? The Char comes out between 4pm-9pm (I tend to find my first one of the day around 5pm,That would be best time to begin your hunting.)
Shape and Size? The Char is actually disguised as a small fish and could easily be mistake for a Piranha or Carp. (catch all small fish around the Waterfalls at the time shown above to maximise your chances.)
