I recently discovered something with the catalog which I'm not sure if it is new with the update or has always been there. Usually when you use the search feature of the catalog in-game, it shows items whose names match the text you entered. However, there are some words you can enter which will show categories of items even if the names don't match the text you entered. For example:
Searching for "lamp", "light", or "lantern" shows all items which light up a room.
"closet" and "chest" show most storage items, although some like the refrigerator are missing.
"chair", "stool", and "seat" show all items which you can sit on which take up one space, but do not show items you can sit on that take up two spaces.
"For sale" gives you all of the items you can order in the catalog.
"Not for sale" gives you all of the items you can't order.
I just think this is kind of interesting and can be helpful if you're trying to decide what to use for a chair or light for instance. If anyone else finds any "key" search words in the catalog (like for tables or sofas / benches) then please let me know.
