We are more than a cycling town- we are a Real Estate service, where we help villagers sell their homes, house swap (trading) and find towns where they will lead a happy, fulfilling life!
This means that although we do sell to the highest bidder, we also have certain rules that ensure both the villager moving & person genuinely looking for their dream neighbour are protected.
If you are a sweet person simply trying to buy your dreamie, you don't have much to worry about! The rules are there to protect people just like you.:
Bidding Rules/ Things to expect:
I will check your wi-fi rating & dealings with others
I only sell to people buying for themselves & for a friend--genuine posts in looking for threads, and signatures that reflect a person who really loves that villager--these people will get priority over people who just decided on a whim.
Sometimes you will truly want a villager that is not in your signature / other posts----and truly want them & I have a 6th sense for this!
Re-selling is a pet hate of mine & people who are just rude I don't really care how much you have to offer---so be aware of that!
I am very careful not to sell to people to re-sell for higher prices in their cycling towns---this is bad sportsman ship!
Why?
When you do this, not only are you ripping me off---but the other bidders that lost their dreamie to you!
This inflates prices & forces nice people that just wanted to have their dreamie---to re-buy that dreamie from you---at an even higher price!
I'm here to make IGB first & foremost, but ultimately prefer to giveaway to a sweet person than sell to a person with poor manners.
This isn't part of the spirit of the community, and I will not interact with you or trade with you if I suspect you of doing such a thing! ** I reserve the right to decline any sale or trade with or without explanation.**
If you buy a "dreamie" then shortly after re-sell for a higher price--this is quite suspicious. If you accidentally TTed them out or got sick of them---please giveaway or sell for the same price you purchased.
I prefer to use the Re-Tail method when receiving payment.
All sales to be made at Re-Tail with IGBs.
Your inventory can hold 1.5 million bells, and more if you use your letter spaces.
With this method you buy items from the Re-Tail like gemstones or flowers. You could pay 2 mill at a time, then walk back to the locker in the station/ATM & get out each 2 mill at a time---rather than dropping bags all over.
This is easier for us both to count & also stops scammers dropping smaller bags and grabbing villagers before the wi-fi is flicked off.
If I see you going anywhere besides the shop & your locker/ATM before all bells are collected, I will simply flick the wi-fi.
-No fake bidders! Only bid what you intend to give. Fake bidders will be reported.
-Bullying other posters & begging for villagers is not tolerated. If you don't like the prices, please leave the auction.
Feel free to visit our Dream Suite. Our last update was done with Lionel after he was packed into boxes--this is a great way to do a house inspection.

Have you read the rules? Be sure you have, because I do not appreciate posts that I have to chase up for the requested information.
Please say "Alice the Koala has such pretty blue eyes!" to show you read the rules & include the things I've mentioned above in your post.

I do things slightly differently, so if you are after a lower tier villager & I like them---they will stay up for a full day just like everybody else.
I don't follow the tier system (besides setting house market prices) & I don't cycle or work as fast as most threads---so expect less villagers up for longer periods of time. That gives you the best opportunity to find your dream neighbour!
