Capcom why ;;

There were 2 things that really put Capcom on the radar and what they are known for: Street Fighter and Mega Man. They stopped doing Mega Man titles, and lately are only rehashing SF4 over and over and over.....

They've made some pretty dumb decisions the last few years, one that even cause Keiji Iwafune (the creator of Mega Man) to actually leave and start his own company. It honestly wouldnt surprise me if they eventually went under. I just hope that if that did happen, some other big decent company (like Nintendo) would acquire the assets for Mega Man. I think they'd do great with him.

Ah yes mega man, Nintendo would definitely do something more proper with him
But I was wondering where would the Resident Of Evil franchise go to

It's not really recently if it was known last year that Capcom had very little money in the bank. They've been trying desperately to come up with stuff to save themselves, but it's obviously not working. And people have been hoping since last year it would be Nintendo that bought them, that sentiment has only grown after seeing how well Nintendo treats the Mega Man franchise in SSB4.

But yeah, Capcom's basically been near bankruptcy for a year now. They'd have to pull off something amazing to avoid it.

That's what happens when you only do remakes that no one under the sun asked for and fail to deliver on your normal stuff and then throw your huge resources at Nintendo and etc. Also I'm sure it didn't help them that the WiiU struggles with it's own sales and the PS4 & XB1 are too new, when console sales are slow, so are game sales of course. They choose to ignore the Vita & 3DS trains for the most part it seems now.

To be fair most people ignore the Vita.

That was my point. Capcom is stupid and could have easily have taken full advantage of the Vita, 3DS and WiiU by now since they've been out for long enough. Monster Hunter on the 3DS is their best selling thing which is odd since it has the worst ratings of the 3 versions, of which is just a redo of the Wii version. And then there's the WiiU version, which again, who asked for that? It's not that the games themselves are bad, but you can't keep redoing the same game so soon. Yeah yeah MH3 we just played that THREE times.

Also, unless these 2 articles are just trying to stir the pot, apparently aprox 15 hours ago (as of this post) Capcom went up for sale today.

Sounds like Street Fighter 4 all over again.

Link to the Capcom up for sale?

Nevermind. Their titles are misleading. It said they were OPEN to sale, not that they're for sale. But the article title says "they are for sale" when you view it on the article list.
I just literally Googled "Capcom" and in the News section there's 2 that say "Capcom is for sale" but then it's like no....

Capcom is going down the drain. I hope they still live on,, because Ace Attorney is one of my favorite games.
And remember that Megaman crowd reaction at the smash invitational? If that doesn't convince Capcom that people still care about The Blue Bomber, then I don't know what will.
And one of their upcoming Ace Attorney release is just an HD remake of their first three Ace Attorney games.

This one?

PRAYING HARD that Nintendo at least acquires Mega Man.

Yeah! I was screaming at the top of lungs while watching that!! I went 1000% fanboy mode in that match xD

Someone should start a movement or something, asking Nintendo to at least acquire rights to Mega Man. I'd do it myself, but not sure how to go about it.

I bet you even if the fans screamed and yelled at the top of their lungs and it was actually heard by Nintendo, I can't imagine it's on their agenda at all. I'm sure if thing didn't go the route they did with Sega, Nintendo would have let Sonic get flushed down the toilet. It may be opinion, but I think Sonic may be more important in the game world (for fans) and if they wouldn't have saved that, I can't imagine why they would choose to save Mega Man. I feel like it's just a coincidence that this bad stuff is happening while Mega Man also is getting fresh light on the 3DS & WiiU

rip capcom

although i dont want street fighter going to nintendo
i think megaman should be bought by nintendo

Capcom ought to just die out finally, they've done nothing to alienate fans recently and their cash cows can only be milked so many times.

Sell Mega Man and Ace Attorney to Nintendo, Street Fighter to Namco or someone, Dead Rising to Microsoft (it's essentially been MS exclusive anyways), and Resident Evil to some company that might actually do it some good. Monster Hunter, let Nintendo and Sony fight over it.

Heck maybe Sega will buy them.

If anything, I really do hope Nintendo buys them out. Nintendo will treat them right and will take good care of their characters.
