Capcom why ;;

Well whatever happens, I doubt Mega Man will leave the Capcom name. Even if Nintendo or someone picked them up, I really can't imagine they'd just dissolve it. Name recognition for one thing is good to keep. Lol Sega cannot afford to pick up Capcom. I don't think any of them can afford it or would even want to, except the big 3. I pretty much can't see Nintendo leaping on Capcom if the opportunity even came up, they're slow to react to anything and they've never appeared interested in picking up any studio that's already a big name. Like I said before, Nintendo would have like the Sega ship sink, they didn't care about Sonic and all their crap. They still really don't care. Sonic & Sega things just appears on Nintendo and in some Nintendo games. By the logic that Nintendo should pick up failing Capcom means they should have picked up any other company that has struggled at one time or another just because of name or character recognition like Sega or Namco or even steal away XSeed from Square Enix cause then we'll lose Rune Factory.

I've always been under the impression that Capcom's recent disservice to MegaMan was a part of their vicious and personal quarrel with his creator, Inafune.

Cancellation of MegaMan Legends 3, fan outcry for his inclusion in Marvel VS Capcom 3 was never delivered (rather, mocked the fans by adding his face to the Days of Future Past poster along with several character endings), then, finally, they added Bad Box Art MegaMan to SFxT.

Meanwhile, Mighty No. 9 is looking totally awesome!

as long as nintendo takes monster hunter i don't care. i need monster hunter okay

(unless someone buys me a PS4 then sony can take it. <33 but i think capcom has some contract with nintendo to keep monster hunter on nintendo platforms till some year anyway so idk)

Lol why do people want a repeat of Sega/Dreamcast/company collapse so bad. Basically now "Oh I guess the WiiU will actually make it so who can we go after now that Nintendo isn't gonna die?"

I doubt anyone with half a brain actually expected Nintendo to go bankrupt because the Wii U was looking like it would fail. I know those claims were around, but they were ridiculous and not based in fact.
It's also what pushed Nintendo to reveal that they could basically make the same loss every year and still survive to 2050. Because unlike Capcom, they actually know how money works.

Yes and unlike Capcom, and nearly ALL of the others, Nintendo has money. Lol Nintendo didn't reveal how much they can lose and for how long, others figured that out.

People love to rag on Street Fighter when they don't play it. I am a Mega Man fan as much as anyone else, would love to see new games. But Street Fighter is a top seller, especially for those who play competitively. And I love the franchise, Street Fighter was the original fighting game. It was only recently that fighting games were getting attention again, and I don't want to see that die down any time soon.

That being said, I was always most upset at Capcom for never doing more Rival Schools games, and even when they were localized, taking out the fun adventure part of the games with more storylines for the characters. But they always said time and time again that it was a title that would lose them money. They always seemed concerned about money.

If someone were to buy Capcom, yeah I'd only trust Nintendo. I wouldn't want them to be bought by anyone else. I think Nintendo would let them be Capcom under them. I wouldn't want them to be sliced up and different franchises going to different companies for sure.
