I'm sorry but how does the characters being taller make it not feel real!? Surely them being taller is more releasing than them being 1ft tall with potato heads? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick here?

Yeah, agreed. Enormous head and tall body= normal proportions to say the least. Enormous head and small body= doesn't seem to be in proportion. The former seems a bit more realistic to me.
