Can't find fishing rod

Hi!

I've been playing ACNL for a few days now, and I haven't been able to get a fishing rod! Nookling Junction has had a net and a shovel for 3 days in a row. I also made the mistake of telling Isabelle that I wanted to catch bugs when she gives advice in the beginning of the game. Is there another way to get the fishing rod?

You can buy one here for free if you want. My museum might have the silver one in stock so you can check there first

okay i'll be open in a sec. you can check the second floor of the museum first for the silver one since that's a nicer model. if it's not in stock then my T&T emporium has it in stock. Also please don't touch the bell bags i have at the station that's for another trade.
