Can’t enter a villagers house ?

So i noticed this a few days ago, and haven’t played since now and it’s still happening. So Chop’s house has its curtains open and light on, suggesting he’s inside, but when i go to enter his house nothing happens, not even an “i’m outside” message or whatever saying he’s not in, just nothing happens. Was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this ?

Try exiting out of the game and restarting. It took 2 times for me but it worked.

Doesn’t really matter, save if you want to. I think the important part is just that the game gets restarted.

This happened to me too twice. Both times were in the morning when I first went on the game that day, I was unable to enter Diva's house and then a week or so later, Tom's house. I found that if you save and quit + close the game and reboot it, it is fixed. I also found that going to someone else's island and coming back also works. Its a really weird glitch that scared me at first but I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this!

So yeah turns out I just had to save and quit and close the game and it was fixed lol. I’m quite bad for just hitting the home button and locking my switch when i’m done playing lmaooo so maybe it had been too long since i’d closed the game
