Derwin just stopped by my house. He gave me candy. What do I do with it? Is it something worth saving or just give it to another villager?

Yeah but Halloween is ages away :L and it's not exactly hard to get at the time either (I found I'd bought waaay too much of the stuff last year)

Last year for Halloween I thought "man I bought WAY too much candy" and then I ran out before the event ended! I was surprised by how much candy little animals can eat! e_e

just eat it. eat it in front of people who have never seen candy before. it's better to use rotton fruit/turnips cause they attract both ants and flies.
