Candy as a reward?

After delivering a package to Lolly today, she gave me a Halloween candy as a reward. Odd, because Halloween is long over...

Anyone else seen this?

Yes, I most recently got some in early September. I think that's a bit early to start saving for Hallowe'en, so at the time I decided that it's a possible gift at all times -- just more rare than the apples and toilets that they usually give out

The first piece of candy I got was back in May. Bettina gave it to me as a reward. I promptly gave it to Dr Shrunk in return for a joke. I was still new to the game and didn't realise how rare it was or that I needed to save it for Halloween.

Today I just got a throne in the mail from Eugene for visiting his house. I really wanted one for awhile now and I just finished my Egyptian-themed tomb. It's like he read my mind. :'3 Needless to say, he's now my favorite villager.

Bangle was the first visitor to burst into my home on a random visit. I was really surprised, talked to her and she handed me a throne. Needless to say, she set a standard that none of my other unexpected visitors have ever met!

ive only gotten non-event related candy ONCE in the 8th months i had that town.

I just got a candy from Maple today, actually. This is the second time she's done this. Anchovy also gave me a candy a few days ago, as well.

I still get candy, too, sometimes. I find it easy to get candy on Halloween, so I hope I don't continue to hoard it unnecessarily.

Still, as others have said, getting a throne is a nice surprise! I've only ever gotten one, and it was from a villager I wanted to move. Needless to say, when she gave me the throne I felt guilty. I still let her move, but I remember her a bit more fondly now.

So many people getting thrones as presents That's never happened to me, but I did find one in a tree.

I have gotten candy from villagers a couple of times, but I just sold it as I don't have enough room in my storage to hoard it.

I didn't realize we could get candy from villagers outside of Halloween, good to know
I don't think I've ever gotten a throne from a villager, but I did know it was possible... All my villagers give me is the shirts I think are ugly and have already cataloged or furniture I've already cataloged lol

This has never happened to me, but I don't see why not. Someone delivered a coconut to Tex the other day.

I got one myself a while back, but it's the only one I've gotten. Villagers tend to give them out during the fall season.
