I spend like the whole of my day yesterday in the water and went swimming after like two years. Its surprising I remembered it since it's not something I get to do often, really.

Anyhow do you know how to swim? How good are you? Do you enjoy it?

yes i used to do competitive swimming 4 times a week :) not anymore though, but im hoping i can get back to it soon

I love swimming in the summer. Really the only swimming lessons I had were when I was a child. I could probably take another lesson about kicking my legs when I swim. They're either stiff or rapidly flailing.

try to keep them straight with pointy feet (as if youre doing ballet). dont kick from the knee but kick from the hip, that should help your legs stay straight :D also try to not kick too fast or too slow and keep a steady pace

I was a competitive swimmer for 7 years and I loved it. Still like to swim when I get the chance, it's just not used as a workout as much any more. Then I was a lifeguard for a year and the job was alright, they make you take monthly swimming tests to make sure you're able to swim to save people, the tests were always super easy for myself.

Oh yeah, and I'm a certified scuba diver lol I think I can swim pretty well

the only good thing i know about swimming is being underwater because i actually move like a mermaid :P

yeah one time I knew this loser that went to a water park, and ended up just swimming in a pool the entire time
instead of going on the insane cool water rides

I'm a fantabulous swimmer! I can could tread water for a good 5 minutes with my shoulders out of the water :/ (that was third grade though)

Now I can tread water for a good 15 min regularly :p
