Hey. I currently have a really crappy tracfone (I think Tye used to have the same one) and I might be able to get a better phone for Christmas. But I don't really know anything about the different kinds of phones. I originally wanted an iPhone, but my dad got a great deal on a 3rd gen. iPod Touch a few months back so now getting iPhone seems pointless. So, can you recommend any phones? The only criteria it needs to meet is that I would love it to have a camera.

sony ericsson is a great brand, and if you can get one for free with a plan, i'd say go with that.

if you want a smart phone, i got no clue. i loved mine so long as i could get a signal, though.

What carrier do you have? I'm gonna guess AT&T?
I don't have a carrier. The tracfone is its own company. You pay as you go, so if you don't pay, you just don't have a phone. There is no contract or deal or anything.

this, or if you're feeling pricey, you can't go wrong with an android or an iPhone.

Oh okay. I think you are limited on your phones then. I'm not sure you can get a droid or iPhone on pay as you. I could be wrong though.

You can't.

I recommend the HTC/ Android types. I have the Samsung Intercept from Sprint and so far it's doing pretty well as an Android. The only downside in your situation is that there is no pay-as-you-go.

I can ask my mom to check if there are any other good phones with that feature. She is a manager at Sprint. :]
