Can you only have one windmill?

While working out some PWPs I noticed the windmill was no longer available as an option after I finished building one. Does that mean there can only be one at a time?

Yes. You also can only have one lighthouse, one fence, one stone tablet, one wind turbine, etc.

I think you can have both in town, if I remember seeing correctly in a dream town O__o

some can be done multiple time I would guess so long as you have the space to. I'm in my new town not focusing on pwp yet because I first want to get my dream villagers settled in and have my 4 houses built once they're there :3

The big PWPs can be build only once (still can remove and build in other place) and there isn't any PWP that exclude others (like the windmill and lighthouse on wii)
The small PWPs can be build several times, but not sure if there is any limit
