Can you force out villagers?

I know you can force out villagers by inviting a villager from the campsite if you already have 10 villagers in your town. But can you force a villager out by inviting a villager from another persons town? Does it work the same way?

Unfortunately, no.

Yes you can. Either through TT, or campsite (amiibo or not)

Not using another player's villagers though
