Can you adopt villagers like etoile and sylvana from other towns?

yes! i got slyvana from someone else, and actually only just recently i found out she was part of the welcome amiibo update x"D

Sylvana, you can adopt her. But for ?toile no, you have to buy the Sanrio cards yourself if you want one of them to move into your town.

that's interesting o: i had a feeling there were some villagers you could not get unless you had their amiibo card yourself, which kinda sucks
