Pokémon Can we talk about Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

So I'm getting bored in quarantine, and decided to finish my Super Mystery Dungeon game for the 3DS. I'm on Chapter 13ish and about to fight Entei but I keep losing! I looked up a video of someone else fighting Entei and they defeated him really easily and they were a lower level than me (they were lv 18 or 19 and I am 21). Why is this game so hard? Is it just me?

I also played Explorers of Sky back in the day, and got all the way up to the final boss (Dialga) but also kept losing and gave up. I thought that game was hard because I was a kid, but now that I am an adult its still hard (lol). Any tips? Does anyone actually like these games?

Just wanted to say for those who care that I have now beat the game and I am in the epilogue. After some online research I realized that I was just dumb (lol) and this game is actually easier than I thought. The secret of course, is items. Wands and orbs are your best friends, and its important to pay attention to what they actually do because they can literally carry you through the game. That is all.
