Not seeming to have any luck with this on the questions thread. I have eight neighbors who I've moved in with amiibo cards, and two moved in through adopting. Out of all my neighbors, the only ones who want to move are the ones who I've adopted. Am I just having poor luck or can they not move out naturally?

They can move out naturally but they are a lot less likely to ping. Like a LOT less likely. It seems really weird...

They will eventually. I hear that the Sanrio cards and Amiibo figure villagers don't move, but regular card villagers will move sometime. Maybe not for a while.

I've never had a single Amiibo figure or card villager ever ping to move. It caused a lot of strife in one of my towns.

I wish Nintendo weren't being such greedy S.O.B's with this and would just let. Them. MOVE.

All my villagers are amiibo card villagers, and within about a month of having them in my town, two have already asked to move...

i think i remember reading somewhere that all of your non-amiibo villagers have to move out and make your town exclusively consist of amiibo villagers in order to get the amiibo villagers to begin to ping.

I am just starting to move in villagers with amiibo cards (Moving in Ellie and Tybalt, planning to move in felyne once his amiibo gets to my house) so Ill definitely have to keep my eye out to see if any of them ping me to move
