Yes, GIMP works with Vista.

Bacon Boy, GIMP for Mac and Windows don't really have that much of a difference. I think you should try out some Windows tutorials to see (I think the only difference involves the Windows Button being substituted for the Command Button.).

Yeah, I haven't found any differences between GIMP for Mac and GIMP for Windows. But for some reason, Control is used instead of Command for shortcuts in GIMP for Mac.

I never really read/watched a tutorial for GIMP... But all I can do is simple stuff on it. I don't even know where to start when it comes to making signatures.

I know photoshop is way better than GIMP. But GIMP is all that I have because photoshop is too expensive and I used all of my money on the mac.

Some do better on GIMP. I've seen some creations on GIMP that were light years better than some PS masters.

I've used both Photoshop and GIMP, and I find GIMP to be not only easier, but better. But that's just me.

I have to admit, I searched EVERYWHERE for a free download, but all I could find was a free trial. But I'm so used to GIMP now, I almost completely forget how to use Photoshop. (I had to use Photoshop for my graphics design class in 9th grade.)

Shhh... I didn't pay for it.
I use Photoshop, and have done so for a little while now.
HAven't ever used gimp, so can't comment on it.
