Can someone help me figure out why this happened?

A friend of mine is holding Bones and Zell for me, they got Zell to ping so I can pick him up later today.

She TT'd him to boxes and he's not in boxes. Her game was on the 20th, and he said he'd move on the 25th, he agreed to moving. It's now the 25th in her game, and Isabelle did not say he's moving and he's walking freely around the town.

Why?

Has she tried TTing another day forward? Maybe she got the date wrong. If not, then I have no idea. o.o

Nope, she talked to him when he asked to move and went straight to his moving date.

Because even though they agree they will sometimes change their mind and stay.

She should tt a day forward. Make sure she does it using a new character though :3

Ya, if she does a new save file, she can just check out what the situation is with him without saving. Does she have any alts? I told someone with my Mayor that they could leave, then they pinged my alt, who isn't on as good a friend level, and with her the villager decided to stay and build a better friendship. X( She might have done that and not noticed if she went through the dialogue fast enough.

She only has her mayor, it was odd but he pinged again and this time he's in boxes so we're all good.
