I haven't plot-resetted before and was wondering if it can corrupt my save.
Sorry if it's a stupid question but I can't seem to find a definite answer.

Pretty sure it can't corrupt your data. People (including me in the past) have been doing it so much that if it could, we would have realised by now.

Considering the game has a whole feature that involves resetting (a very friendly mole) I don't think resetting can cause any corruption.

Well, I guess it could corrupt your data if you power off while saving your new character, but otherwise there's no risk of getting your data corrupted.

Actually, it could. It's just extremely rare, my cousin was doing it and her second town got corrupted.

No, it doesnt.
It only corrupts data when you close the game while saving or loading your game.
Press the home button and then close your game. It doesn't get you go to the home menu when it isn't safe to close the game.

I do it A LOT and every time I worry about this ;) never happened tho and also never heard about it happening.

Thanks for the replies! Also, if anyone knows a guide to plot-resetting I'd appreciate it :)
