Can Marshal be one of your first fives?

Are you sure? I restarted my town 50+ times to find a good town and I never got an uchi. Hm, maybe it's rare.

The instances in which there was some form of proof have proven themselves wrong each time I've seen it. I honestly think it's just people recollecting wrongly.

Nope. I've had Fuchsia since the beginning, she's my favorite so I never let her leave.

I've been resetting my 2nd cartridge since I got it (a week ago) and I've never seen a Smug or an Uchi as the first five. HOWEVER, I can confirm the latter of that above statement. I always get a smug moving in afterwards, as well as an Uchi.

I have not seen anyone with proof who has claimed to have a Smug as their first five, so until then I think it's safe until then: Marshal cannot be a first five.

I've heard people claiming this too. I've yet to see evidence of a tree planting ceremony picture with a smug/uchi villager though (if someone has one and would like to prove me wrong, please go right ahead!). My resets have yet to offer up a smug/uchi personality type as a starter villager.

The last time a thread about this popped up two of the posters who claimed to have gotten an uchi or a smug as their first five had screenshots in separate threads from their tree planting ceremony. A user pulled those images to the thread because both of them showed their first 5 did not include uchi or smug.

People claiming they had it are mistaken, it was their 6th villager, you just remember them being there early. No one has ever provided definitive proof that their first 5 contained one, and the resetters consistently confirm that uchi and smug are never in the first five.

With that being said, until there is a tree planting ceremony screenshot containing uchi or smug, I'll stick with the evidence.

I don't think you can. I have Marshal and I've had him for ages, I just checked and he was the first person to move to my town, not one of my starting 5!

Okay that's good to know! Is the 6th ALWAYS a smug or uchi? Or they just have a higher chance of appearing as a 6? XD

I took a screenshot of my town planting ceremony, and my tree is big enough to sit on and see my town history ^^ so I checked both of those and Marshal was the first one to move in and wasn't at the tree planting ceremony
