I know where this is coming from, because Creepysheepy is obsessing about Julian's birthday! No, he will have no use for the top gifts listed on Twonky. He may accept them and it might raise his friendship with you, but he will not wear them and he will not even display them. If you give him something from a lower category, it will still raise his friendship with you. Just don't give him something he hates, and even then, it would probably just end up in Re-Tail. Heck, I have given b-day presents from the favorite category and they've gotten rid of it pretty quickly. If you have an Emporium, give some Gracie furniture. Unless they absolutely hate the style, they are going to love that you spent so much on them.

Aw man. I was wondering this too. Because when I replaced everything in the Able Sister's shop, my first thought was 'whoa Groucho is gonna look really awkward in that maid dress'. Then, I noticed NO ONE was wearing any of the dresses ;-; Only Chrissy has worn a sweater QR I have. I wish they'd wear the dresses though, cause I rarely get QRs that are just shirts >>
