Can I visit someone's town to change my hairstyle?

Recently bought the physical version (I now have both electronic and physical) and I'm too impatient to wait for the Salon renovation in my new town, I also don't like time-travelling. (I'm cray-z. I know.)
So yeah, can I quickly go to anyone's town to change this monstrosity on my character's head?

I'm also accepting friend requests because I'm lonely.
