Can I transfer ownership of my island to another user on my Switch?

One of my friends was just wondering if there it a way to transfer ownership of the island to another user on the Switch, I tried looking it up but there has been nothing on google.

Do you mean that you're trying to make a secondary person the island rep? If that's what youre trying to do, its not possible unforutnatley
