can i repeat the wedding event?

so for the other events like earth day and bunny day, u can time travel back and experience them again but i coudnt do the same for the wedding. anyone tried repeating the event?

That will suck if so, because I still have hearts from the event that I was going to go back in time to trade for extra items to give away or something.

I remember helping someone who couldn’t access the wedding event while it was running, even though they had the correct update. It turns out, they weren’t able to trigger it because their time wasn’t synchronized with the internet (i.e. they were time travelling). Once they synchronized time, they were immediately able to do the wedding event!

I wonder whether Nintendo is treating the wedding event like a “special event” that can only be attended if you’re not time travelling? And if that’s the case, that would make the wedding inaccessible by default, since you cannot be synchronized with the internet and be in the wedding season...

If that's the case, then that's good to know. I would be upset if they were just removing events on purpose because they don't want people time travelling.

I was about to TT back and do the wedding event. But I also did this July 1 before any of the big updates.

I actually repeated the whole wedding event about 2-3 weeks ago by time traveling backwards and it was fine. I went to cherry blossom season first and traveled 2 weeks at a time to get to wedding season so diving was announced, I did a bunch of other things, and wedding season happened like it did in June.

I also was able to do bunny day again (not that I even wanted to lol, they just jammed Zipper into cherry blossom week). Maybe going directly back to the day is what messed things up!

This thread is a year old and the wedding event is on in the game right now. So you can go enjoy the event now. Its the same as last year basicakly so you haven't missed anything (except Reese saying its the same as last year)
