I'm still pretty new at this, looking for help in a lot of areas. I'm good with my hybrids now and tree placements, but what about bushes?
I placed two in a row yesterday by a house, the one right next to it looks ready to die (seeing as it hasn't even attempted to grow) the other which is a bit further away from the house is fine.
So I can't put them next to a house? I assume that goes for anything, train track, public works?
Thanks in advance for your help!
No, actually, there's good news in that you can plant bushes directly next to trees! You'd just have to fully grow the trees first.
I just meant that if you have a bunch of flowers that are surrounding the initial shrub you plant, and you can't be bothered moving them, it won't cause the shrub to refuse to grow.
Oh I see, so I'll grow the trees first and then add bushes after. Will have to get organised, not very good at planning in advance but I already messed up my woodland area, really want to get my little garden right
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me, smileorange
There's also a limit to how many trees you can plant in one area, and how many bushes you can plant in a row. But I can't remember what it is.
Yeah, with my town I didn't do much initial planning for the landscaping at all, and have made numerous attempts only to remove everything and start from scratch.
Bush starts can take a while to accumulate, so it's best to plant them wisely. You can always buy more on here, though they sell for so much compared to Leif.
But have fun!! It's always so rewarding to see the final outcome.
I've only just unlocked the 3rd nooks expansion so haven't got many bushes at all yet. Don't fancy getting them from the island.
At the moment I'm only putting them around the areas that I know can't be messed up by villagers moving or where I may want to put a PWP at some point.
Looks a bit messy at the minute with things half finished.
I'll have a look at the tree thing, I've messed those up I don't know how often now. Planted the cedars in the wrong place as it turns out :-(
I'll get there I'm sure! Some day ;-) wish I could be as organised as some people. I've seen some amazing villages on the dream suite. Must have taken so much thought and planning. I'm all over the place naturally so it doesn't come easy to me! Haha
