Can I Put a Bridge Here.

Hello! I'm currently updating my bridges in my town, swapping out the Cobble Stone for the Suspension.
However, I'm not sure whether I would be able to place a bridge here because it's so close to the cafe! I'm too scared to risk demolishing it and not being able to rebuild as it is perfectly symmetrical.

I've read online about bridges a little - including something about them needing 5 spaces....But it's still all very confusing, so I'm calling everybody from TBT, I need help!

Here's a picture of where the bridge would have to go, please let me know what you think






(Also, please ignore how barren it looks, I'm planning to plot reset my 10th character into that empty space behind the roses - it's a work in progress).

Yes you can. The cafe is just far enough away. You can look at the bridge guide in my signature for more details. Even if the cafe was one space closer you could still build it, so it's safe.

Oh, I just noticed the face-cutout. You'll have to demolish that before you can build the new bridge.

I tried switching the bridge by my cafe in my first town and ruined my town. I wasn't able to put one even remotely close either. I'm pretty sure mine was only 4 away. Yours does look safe/borderline but oh boy, it's close. I hope it goes well!

I wouldn't risk it :/ I tore down a bridge to rebuild it in a similar location, but Isabelle wouldn't let me because it was too close to the police station. There was more plenty of space separating the two objects as well.

Thank you, I will have a look at that and read through - it's so nerve racking. I wish I had thought about this before putting my cafe there! Yes, that's fine, this part of town needs re-landscaping anyway. Thank you for your help!

Eek - I know, it's 5 squares but gosh, can you imagine if I couldn't put it back in? I'm going to read up about it more before making a decision. I'll let you know how it goes

Hahaha - yes! Isabelle is infuriating sometimes. Just let me have full control of my PWP placement! Thank you for all of your help everyone!
