actually the exchange rate isn't official, there is no exchange rate apart from what the user asks for.
Before NL got released the rate was 1 TBT bell = 1,000 bells, but then the AC:NL players came in and over priced everything

Well, yeah the exchange is completely unofficial, but no one is willing to sell for that when they can sell to me for almost 7 times as much xD. But yeah, I think the exchange rate inflation is complete bull. It was 300k when I joined in.November. it'll probably be 1 million by March.
