Can I move more than one villager in?

I have 5 villagers in my main town, I just spoke to Diana in my cycle town and she will be moving into my main town tomorrow. Now there's another villager in my cycle town that I want in my main town. If I speak to that villager, will the villager move in instead of Diana or will the villager move in the following day?

One villager at a time can move in. Let Diana plot her house first & then ask the next one to move in.

You can only invite one villager per day, so if you speak to that villager they will replace Diana. Once Diana has plotted in your town you're safe to invite someone else. I'm setting up a new town too so I've just been going through this

Yep. Otherwise, one will get booted out to guarantee a place for one of the villagers to move into.

Not before one of the villagers has put their plot down or one of them will get overridden.

Seems like a good idea to let the camper move in and then grab the other villager from your cycling town aftwardss cx
