Can I Come Visit?

So, I'm new to AC:NL, and 4 days into making my own town. I'd really like to visit other towns and see how other people have created theirs (I promise not to touch anything unless I have permission, though I might check out shops since I obviously don't have anything besides the basic shops).

Is there anyone who has their gates open or are going to be opening their gates whom I can add to my friends so I can travel to/explore other towns?
