Yesterday my little sister was playing and she talked to a villager who wanted to leave and she miscliked and told him to move out, i didn't notice, so the next day i opened the game and isabelle said that Alfonso was moving out. I got scared so after she said that i closed the game without saving (so it doesnt count as a new loaded day). I don't know if i can time travel back given the fact that theorically i haven't loaded the part where alfonso is in boxes, so i could be able to get him back, but im scared that if i do that the plot will be already empty.

Can’t you create a new account or use a different, and tell them to stay when they ask you again? I’ve heard about this being an option.

EDIT: I’ve just read he’s already in boxes. Unfortunately, it’s too late once that villager is in boxes. I’m sorry that Alfonso is moving away.

I suppose he is, i haven't seen him in boxes because i haven't enter the game (i closed it when isabelle said he was leaving because i panicked, so it didn't save) so if i time travel back maybe it will be like no time has passed and i could ask him to stay with another user, but it is a stretch, so i will ask a friend to take care of him maybe. Thank you though

Yep, let us know! I’ve heard this only works if he isn’t in boxes, so hopefully you’re still able to let him stay.

The only thing that you could've done to stop this from happening is that if you made another user on the same switch you can tell them not to move out if the other user said "yes" already, but sadly since you mentioned that the villager is boxes there is no way of making them change their mind. Even if you time travel backwards it still won't work.

Unless if you had a 2nd switch you could possibly get him back by basically having an open plot on the 2nd island so they can move into that island, but again thats the only way I see how to save the villager. If all else fails then its too late and you'll have no choice but to say goodbye to the villager. Just remember to tell your little sister what not to do next time and use this advice to avoid a situation like this.
