Can Golden roses breed?

In other words, if you have two, can you somehow get a third? My understanding is that golden roses and jacobs ladders dont breed, so I never tried, but just asking in case they do. In which case, i have been missing out on breeding opportunity...

In previous games, they would make yellow roses, but here they don't make anything.

Nope. They don't. Otherwise they wouldn't be that "special".

No, they don't. If you want more you have to use the black roses.
