Can anybody explain what this is? This has never happened before!

Ohey guys, I had this happen today during the Bug-Off, and I've TT'd through almost 3 years now, and it's never done this before, what is it?

Cumulonimbus clouds, they only can appear in August from 9am-3pm according to the Thonky holiday/special events guide.

Oh I see! .. Very strange, haha.. I normally play past 4pm anyway, so it was a bit of a surprise .. Thanks for that!

Oh so that's what that was! I had that one morning when I was playing. I thought it looked really strange but I figured it was just a unique cloud formation anyways.

No problem! I don't know where I first heard about them, but when I actually saw them I was disappointed (I figured they'd look more like an anvil).
