Hey there, I was busy with a lot of town organizing and suddenly one of my favorite villagers is in boxes! I was never pinged and she never mentioned it when I talked to her. Thankfully one of my friends offered to take her in since she has available space at the moment. We're hoping that I can come back to get her once she is ready to leave and in boxes again... is this possible? Can she move back after being in one town after mine? I'm sorry I wasn't sure where to post this and I couldn't find the answer when searching my situation anywhere online, any help would be appreciated!

Yeah, this. Until that happens there's no way. I've personally never done the "16 cycle", so I can't recommend an option as well as others.

Okay thank you! I wasn't sure if the 16 villager cycle was still necessary since she isn't moving to the void. I have another question to follow up if you don't mind. Once she moves away, is it possible for me to get the same villager from a stranger's town? I know if you encounter the same villager in a different town they have no memory of you since it's different data and everything... would I be able to gain one of them if they never knew me previously (like if I won an auction or selling on the forums)? Or would my game intervene and refuse until I do the 16 villager cycle?
