Campsite Villagers

I feel like I don't get as many campsite villagers than I did in New Leaf. It's been a while since I've gotten one. I wish we would get more campsite villagers then we do now.

I’ve done the campsite method so many times now that I think the average you should be getting campsite visitors is between 1-2 a month.

I actually get more in acnh then I did NL. But I see what you're getting at, and I wish they were more often. But like above users said, it makes when they occur more exciting!

I'm not to sure about that myself, it's been weeks since I've last seen one though

i also don't get campsite villagers in new horizons as often as i'd like. the last one i got was around a month ago. and if it's true that they appear more often now then i guess i've been just very unlucky?

I feel like in NL I got just as much or less than the amount of campers I've gotten in NH, which isn't a lot. I wish they had changed this and made campers more frequent.

there was datamined proof of it. i'm not really sure if it's changed or they just discovered the numbers* behind it. it was even on the official guide. but either way, the average should be 2 a month. 3 if you're lucky, and that's that.

*basically, the maximum chance is just 20%, 6 days since you last had a campsite visitor

I feel like a good update would be to have the probability of campsite visitors tied to your island rating considering how much Isabelle talks up the popularity of your island once you get a 5 star rating. Instead of maxing out at 20% you could have like a 50% chance of visitors every week if you have a 5 star island that way you can probably get one every week.
