Campsite Villagers?

When campsite villagers who move in to replace villagers (amiibo or not), do they take whoever's home exterior they are moving into?

I was time traveling when Wolfgang appeared in my campsite. So I got him to replace Al (finally lol....) But Wolfgang has Al's home exterior now. Not sure if me time traveling backwards when Wolfgang was in the process of moving in has anything to do with the exteriors either but...??

I'm not complaining since I liked Al's home exterior, but just curious for future villagers.

It's a glitch. I don't know much about it but it's not supposed to do that lol

I had it happen twice and both times I had time travelled straight to when the new villager had moved into town. Now I go day by day and don’t have that issue.

Honestly, I would love to change some villagers house exterior

Yeah, this is a known glitch that occurs when you mess with the "plot sold" day. Either by TTing forwards and skipping the day, TTing backwards, or just not loading the save on that day will cause the glitch.

The interior is the correct one for the camper.

For me Wolfgang has his own interior! and with Al's exterior it looks really great actually
