Campsite villager question?

So, I'll give an example of what I'm trying to say. Say I have Whitney's amiibo card. I scan it and have her in MY campsite. If I invite someone and they talk to Whitney, could they invite her to THEIR island? To live there? Is this possible, or no? Thank you!

Nope! If the person wants Whitney you have to move her in and then out so the person could get her ^^

You can only invite villagers from your campsite to live on your own island. If your friend also wanted Whitney they'd have to already be living in your island but in boxes, then if your friend has an empty slot on their island they would move to them.
