I was wondering if there was a way to restart doing the trick without making a new town/rebuilding the campsite? I was thinking maybe you could go back to the day you built it and start from there but I don't know. Sorry if the wording of the question was bad, I don't really know how to explain it so if you want me to elaborate that's fine

Also I was wondering if Isabelle tells you when someone is moving out when you are doing the trick as she keeps saying that there was a slight problem because I didn't save

I don't think there's a way...! It seems unlikely (but still possible)

I also do not know about your Isabelle question, sorry!

Are you going on as Mayor? Isabelle only says that when you go on as mayor and you quit.

If you're trying to campsite reset, you need to go on a new day as a new character, the game hasn't loaded yet so nothing has been set into stone.

I don't think you can repeat the first day, but if you load your game with a new save file you can check for campers before you even save. If there's no camper or it's not the one you want, just quit and restart with the new save file again. Each time you restart there is a chance there will be a camper. I have read that some days are luckier than others for getting a camper, but I don't know if that is true.

Isabelle will never tell this new save file about someone in boxes. She will tell a non-mayor regular character though, as long as they have played recently.
