Campsite questions

1. Is the campsite being set up random or is the game like "there is someone in the campsite this day and also this day"
2. If the campsite is not random for the day, can you do the new file creation thing to change the villager?

1. It is random day by day. Supposedly you'll get more campers during summer since its warmer.

2. yes You can do that trick. I've done it a few times. It works but its completely random. I did it once 4 times no camp. 5 time camp, then again 2 times no camp, then camp. It's random, sometimes you'll get higher percentage than other days.
