Campsite question!!

hey all, ive got a question about camper move-ins

so yesterday i did the camper reset trick, decided i wanted wolfgang, built my house, saved,demolished the house ,loaded up the mayor, asked wolfgang to move in, he agreed, i saved and turned off the game. did everything right.

today i loaded up a new save to plot reset for wolfgangs house. no plot.

but theres an igloo with wolfgang in it. when i talk to him he says "i gotta find a place for my house"

is this normal??? i thought that the day after the camper agrees to move in, the igloo/tent disappears then the plot turns up or theres a delay and the plot turns up in a day or two... but wolfgangs still camping... should i wait and see tomorrow??

What time is it in your game? The game usually goes to the next day at 6am.

The only thing I can possibly think is check and make sure you didn't accidentally lad same day..sometimes they will stay in camp an extra day if there is a special event those are the only two things I can think of. The day after with campers he should be gone and plot two days after not one like a trade or buy. If it's an event day that's why, or wrong date..but he should plot two days after you asked unless as said next day was an event he would stay an extra day.

well i landed wolfgang at around 11pm then loaded up the game at around 2pm the next day (today) . so a whole day had passed (i got a visit from gracie yesterday when i landed wolfgang and i got karina today and i dont think you can have both of them on the same day)


it MIGHT be because of events (i landed wolfgang on the 22nd) the 21st was the solstice and soon is toy day.. the game could be confused??? ITS A MYSTERY!

Sometimes, even a bug off anything can make them stay an extra day but as long as he agreed just go forward two days from where he is now and plot him or wait and be ready, I think it's still two days even if they stay an extra. It must be some kind of event on the day he first showed or is planning to plot so I would be she and keep checking ahead then get him in and go back or just check for plotting daily...
