Campsite glitch?

Maybe it’s just cause I time traveled to get things but Isabelle said that there was someone at the campsite and when I got there, no tent was present... is this a glitch or just the result of me TT a day to get things?

Did you check your campsite the day isabelle made the announcement? Campsite villagers only stay for a day, they leave the next morning

so isabelle said there was a camper today, then you TTed to tomorrow, then you came back to today and there was no camper? if so then that's not a glitch, the camper leaves once you "end" the day, even if you come back.

Also if you TTed to earlier in the day (Say you logged in at 4pm and you went back to 9am), the camper will no longer be there! But yeah, don't TT once you get a villager, check who is in the campsite first!
