Camping trick help!?

So i know about the campsite trick were you make a new file and keep resetting till you get the one you want well it isn't working idk what im doing wrong i know you need to make it a new day but you can't make a new day with a new file how am i suppose to do that im trying to at least get one last dreamie hopefully cherry but anyone cute would be nice well anyways if you know how to do this please help me out here.​

The idea is to load up your mayor save at like 5:58 AM, save and quit, wait until the clock rolls over to 6 AM, then start making new files and resetting until you find a villager you want in the campsite.

I'm by no means an expert on campsite resetting.

But I believe you just do the same as the plot reset trick. So make a new character, once you can then go to the campsite. If you don't like the villager then don't save.... rinse and repeat.

Though I'd probably wait for someone to confirm that.....

Hmm i tried that i loaded up 3 diff times and nobody was camping is that normal? do i just have to keep doing it till there is a camper?

Yeah, don't save the new file if there's either no one in the campsite or it's someone you don't like. Just go back out to the main menu and close the game, then go back in and keep trying the new files.

Also, some days there are unfortunately just not going to be any villagers showing up.

Yeahhh the chances of a camper showing up each day are random. I usually just TT until I find a day that usually gives me a camper and then go from there. (My way of cycling the campsite is different but that doesn't matter)

I know. I'm trying to tell you how to find a day where you get a lot of campers so you can successfully do the reset trick.
