Hi guys!
I have my beloved Kabuki in my camping, however I already have 10 villagers. He asked to move in, I said that he should. Then he visited Nook and came back saying : “it’s too bad your island is full”. He didn’t mention “kicking out” one of the villagers like I read online.
I’m really confused, should I keep talking to Kabuki? I have been doing this for maybe 1h! So frustrating.

thanks !

That’s weird. Maybe because none of your Villagers really wants to move out yet? Because when Groucho was talking to Quillson, he mentioned that Quillson was already planning on leaving anyway. Before that he wanted Mitzi out.

maybe... I’m really disappointed, I love Kabuki!

After mentioning the island is full, he should ask you if he should ask someone on the island to move out. After you agree to it, he'll mention a villager's name that's planning on moving out.

If he's not prompting that, I'm not sure what's going on as I've never experienced it.

Keep talking to him, he should mention talking to someone to kick out.

Do you have someone moving in today?

That sounds incredibly frustrating had that had happened to me with Raymond this morning ooo boy i'd be upset. Sorry to hear you have to deal with yet another potential issue on the games end.

I wonder if any of your existing villagers are triggering this issue. Do you have any villagers that may be potentially glitched? (adopted via amiibo, adopted from another town etc.)

How many times did you talk to your villagers? Maybe it’s really based on the Friendship Level somehow? It’s like in New Leaf, when Chops wanted to move, but reconsidered it, because after I agreed he was like: „No I’m staying! We don’t know each other that good and should learn to build up our Friendship!“ or something like that.

I really hope it’s not another Glitch... :cautious:

No I don’t think so, no amiibos and no one from other towns

Honestly close to 100 times

Could it be something like a villager sick in their house or a lost villager item laying around town? I have no idea if either of those things would be an issue, I'm just wondering if some ongoing little "villager event" could interfere with a campsite replacement.

Whatever the cause, I'm sorry it's happening, that sounds incredibly frustrating. I hope you manage to invite him.

Have you tried talking to your current villagers and see if any of them have a new prompt stating that they want to leave? Maybe you have to initiate it the other way also?

I had this happen when I had another camper. (It was Mott and I didn't really want him but I was curious who he would choose to kick) but he wouldn't prompt me to kick anyone.
I had Francine and Raymond in my campsite before and both of them prompted me if I wanted them to talk someone into leaving.
