camp to hotel

i can't really see any big reason to why we should have a camp maybe from the start when very few have heard of a potential vacation place but there's only one tent camp so with that reasoning everyone in the animal crossing universe could believe the tent is taken for the meantime and we can believe everyone who lives in the city wants to try a vacation on the island and want a short or long time vacation and there's a queue on who would like to be in the tent for x amount of time so maybe a hotel would be better so alot more could visit the island we have

I think it depends on the person's build. Some people have very natural scenery and a camp would be better while other has a full city. It would nice to have options to select one but I don't mind a campsite.

would be cool if it upgraded to a hotel when your island reached a certain criteria. Even if part of the requirements was you spending bells or gathering resources to upgrade it

yeah it would and i'm sure it would attrach alot of people as the news breaks to everyone else a newly build hotel just opened and for those who wants to visit the island could get excited

fair enough and you're right we should have the option to choose between a camp or upgrade the camp to a hotel and maybe tom nook would message you there is alot of people who wants to visit and stay for a few days as a reguest you could choose to expand or not

im not fully confident in my island yet (it's around 30% completion tbh LOL) but once i do finish it i'll definitely invite you <3

Yeah, with the build I’m planning on having unless the hotel was more of a rustic lodge it would ruin the immersion entirely. I can see where some builds do suffer from the campsite, however.

It would be interesting to see a hotel! I think it would play super nicely with the cliff levels by using multi-level entrances. Maybe characters like Lottie and Lyle (or maybe Digby aka my Doggo Son) could come back to run the hotel too!

I wouldn't want a hotel unless nooks, ables, and the residential plaza get an upgrade to match. I would want a hotel closer to my shops.

Now thinking about it, I wouldn't want a hotel because it means I would want to make to grand on the outside and my museum area already takes up 2 squares on the map

well it's your choice if you want a hotel on your island and upgrade your camp to the hotel it's not a thing to be forced todo and sounds like your idea plus the hotel could go well together

If upgrades to the campsite were possible, I'd probably want a cozy cabin instead.

yeah that sounds better than a tent just imagine if the weather were horrible like a horrible thundering storm and you want to be inside vinyl can barely withstand that kind of windpressure wood on the other hand can handle that kind of wind pressure if constructed properly which i hope it has so maybe a cabin and a hotel could be choices with if you want to give one guest a comfortable living place or multiple people for a vacation
