I'm attracted to ****s, that's not transphobic, nor is it dehumanizing. I just don't want to date someone with a vagina, that doesn't mean I think of them as any less of a person.

You can't lock your own thread outside of certain boards. You have to report the thread to get it locked, and that can take some time.

trans men can have penises. if he has all the "right features" that you like and literally the only reason to why you don't want to date them is that they're trans, then it is transphobic.

obviously you don't have to date or have sex with anyone with genitalia that you're not attracted to.

but many people say they are into men, and then they're like "wait but i don't mean TRANS men", which is i mean??? it's fine if they don't wanna have sex w people w a vagina, but trans man =/= has vagina, and besides saying they like men but would never be with a trans man kind of makes it sound like they don't mean that trans men are real men, if you get what i mean?

i havent rly read the whole conversation but yeah thats my thought on it as a trans person

Fine okay trans men can have ****s, ok.

I don't want to date a person that doesn't have a **** and I don't want to date someone who wants to get rid of said ****.

religion can be transphobic af what's your point
I never said it can't be. I just meant to say that I do think it should be respected. For these people, rejecting a transsexual person in a loving relationship comes after a process of deciding between two evils. Either they continue sinning (in their point of view) or they disappoint a person they love. I don't see how calling them out for this makes anything better for anyone.

I've never seen anyone get called out for this issue if it's part of their religion if that makes you feel better

Closed by request and because the original topic of the thread (which may not have been the best discussion fodder to begin with) seems to have been long buried at this point.
